Accounts Receivable Associate

Main Duties:

• Handle day-to-day Accounts Receivable transactions and ensure their accurate and timely recording
• Record and allocate customer payments and maintain accurate customer account information
• Review outstanding balances and follow up on open items and payment-related discrepancies
• Assist with regular period-end closing activities within the Accounts Receivable function
• Perform routine account reconciliations and support the resolution of differences
• Work closely with internal teams to clarify and resolve issues related to customer accounts and AR transactions
• Provide support with AR-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining and updating process documentation and work instructions
• Support the consistent application and continuous improvement of Accounts Receivable processes across European entities
• Perform daily AR activities using SAP S/4HANA and other relevant finance systems

Work Experience and Skills:

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting is preferred
• Experience in a Shared Service Center or international environment is an advantage
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems is an advantage
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• German or another European language is considered an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Organized and structured approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn
