Senior ML/AI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior ML/AI Engineer to lead the development of our most complex predictive models and advanced generative AI applications. The focus of this role is on mentoring and technically elevating the younger members of the team, introducing MLOps standards within our On-Prem infrastructure, and collaborating closely with supporting technical teams to successfully integrate models into production.

• Design and develop complex predictive models (classification, regression, user behavior analysis, optimization) and take full ownership of their production integration.
• Architect and lead the development of advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and internal AI tools for smart analytics.
• Establish MLOps standards, including model monitoring, deployment pipelines, and performance optimization on On-Prem infrastructure.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues, conduct code reviews, and set high standards for code quality and engineering excellence within the team.
• Collaborate with data engineering and infrastructure teams to define technical prerequisites for stable model functioning and regular updates.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in data science, keeping the team aligned with latest industry trends and advancements in AI/LLM space.

Uslovi

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Organizational Sciences, or a related technical field
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in ML model development, architecture, and production implementation.
• Mandatory advanced knowledge of SQL and a deep understanding of relational and non-relational database (DB) concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and standard ML frameworks (Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, Pandas, NumPy), with a deep understanding of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, framework tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex), and vector databases.
• Solid understanding of MLOps concepts and tools (e.g., Docker, MLflow, Airflow, CI/CD) in server environments (On-Prem or Cloud).
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills, with a genuine passion for sharing knowledge and growing team members.
