Game Developer (Medior/Senior)

This position is aimed at medior and senior developers with a strong technical foundation who enjoy solving complex problems and want to build long-term, sustainable gameplay systems for commercial Minecraft Marketplace projects. Prior game development experience is an advantage - but not a requirement. If you can demonstrate strong logical thinking, independence, and code quality through a technical assessment, we want to hear from you. This is a freelance engagement, with the expectation of a long-term working relationship.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement advanced gameplay mechanics
• Build modular and scalable gameplay systems
• Work with Behavior Pack architecture
• Implement features, event logic, and state management systems
• Use the Minecraft Bedrock JavaScript API and Molang language
• Debug, optimize, and performance-tune live systems
• Collaborate with game designers through an iterative development process
• Take ownership of the stability and quality of your implemented systems

What We Look For

• Minimum 2 years of active programming experience (more is a plus)
• Strong logical and systematic thinking
• Experience with JavaScript or similar languages
• Ability to research and solve problems independently
• Good command of the English language
• Professional work ethic and respect for deadlines

Nice to Have

• Minecraft development experience
• Game development experience (Unity, OpenGL, or other engines)
• Understanding of gameplay balance and system design
• GitHub or public technical projects to share
• Long-term ambition in the game development field

Selection Process

The process includes a technical test that simulates a real project scenario. It is designed to assess: How you think through problems, your logical and systematic approach to building solutions, code quality and structure, your ability to research and figure things out independently.
