Senior System Engineer

For our System/Network Operations Team in IT department, we are in search of: Senior System engineer. You will manage and maintain our Windows and Linux server environments, including virtualization, backup, and security systems. You will also monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure stable and secure infrastructure.

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File Services) and Linux servers in a mixed environment.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and security policies in domain and server environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, highly available server infrastructure, including capacity planning and system improvements.
• Administer and optimize virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) and contribute to infrastructure architecture.
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot server and application incidents.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam), including testing restore procedures.
• Implement and maintain security mechanisms and policies in line with defined standards.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and standard IT practices.
• Collaborate with network, security, and IT support teams to ensure system stability, availability, and security

Uslovi

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File Services) and Linux systems, including virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware) and backup/recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam).
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation of administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with EDR/XDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon) and monitoring tools; basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, firewall).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
