System Administrator

Job Duties

• Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, servers, and related systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular system backups, and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls for various IT resources.
• Respond promptly to system outages, incidents, and technical support requests from users.
• Keep software and operating systems up to date with patches and security updates.
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on system usage and best practices.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and IT inventory.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or a similar role.
• Proficiency in administering Windows and/or Linux-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and firewall configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
